Happy birthday! |
|
Thank you for having the courage to produce a strictly one-season series of such high caliber. The Prisoner still fascinates me, and no one but you could have been #6. |
|
Many happy returns! |

Dear Mr. McGoohan, |
|
I wish you a very happy birthday and many happy returns! |
|
Thank you for your wonderful Prisoner series that I’ve enjoyed for many years since its first run. I purchased the entire series on videotape as soon as it was available awhile ago. I have very little money to spend lately, and these tapes are one of my prize investments. There are too few good films at the theater, so I watch these instead. |
|
Thank you again and be seeing you another 75. |

Thank you for sharing your talent with us and for giving us unforgettable characters such as John Drake, Number Six, Dr. Syn, and all the rest. Your integrity and honor are an inspiration in a world where such things seem to be largely forgotten. |
|
Happy birthday! |

Sincerely, |

As a fan of The Prisoner and Dangerman, I would like to wish Mr McGoohan a happy 75th birthday, and long may he continue to entertain and intrigue audiences who want more from television programs than adverts and Big Brother. Joolz Maddocks, UK |

That Roger Goodman interview with you was fantastic. Before it I had never looked at The Prisoner from the viewpoint of producing it. You took a bunch of strangers and did a masterpiece. A giraffe is a horse formed by a committee, but somehow you pulled a classic off. Thanks for sharing it with me. |

Dear Mr. McGoohan, |
|
All the best on your 75th! Thank you so much for giving the world so much entertainment and the conundrum that is The Prisoner. Did you have any idea when you created this iconoclastic series that it would become something of an obsession to its fans? 35 years and were still trying to figure it out! |

Happy B'Day! |

Remember to always check under the oxygen mask of your flying partner and make sure that you are not on the Black Queen Pawn's square. But it’s six of one, half dozen of the other. Thanks for the series. |

Be seeing you |
